What to Expect:

The purpose of this mandatory orientation is to give University of Maryland undergraduate students insight into how the Intern for a Day Lite process works and how to best prepare for an informational interview if we are able to match you with a professional through the program. It should take you approximately 20 minutes to complete the orientation.

The deadline to complete this orientation is Monday, March 22, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST. After viewing all content and completing all "assignments" (2 quizzes, 1 activity) with full scores within this orientation, you will receive the Intern for a Day Lite application by Tuesday, March 23 at 12 PM EST.

What We Will Cover in This Orientation:

  1. Background on Intern for a Day Lite
  2. Application/matching process, followed by a 6-question quiz for understanding
  3. How to prepare for an informational interview, followed by an activity and a 5-question quiz for understanding
